What's a Reel Poets Movie?
A film qualifies if it meets one or more of these criteria:
Poet Biography
The movie is about the life of a famous poet or an artist in any medium who also wrote poetry.
Character Identity
A fictional character is labeled a poet by another character or self-identifies as a poet.
Poetry Performance
Includes at least one scene in a poetry café/bar where poetry is read or performed.
Spoken Verse
Characters speak lines of poetry or verse (not sung).
Creative Rule
At least one host and every guest writes a poem inspired by the film, read at the end of the episode.
